SIR Branch 49 Golf
SIR Br 49 Golf Club is composed of approximately 55-70 members, all of whom are Br. 49 members in good standing. Separate applications are necessary to join SIR and our golf club. We conduct golf tournaments weekly during the March-October regular season, and as weather permits during the winter months. Winter tournaments are scheduled 10-14 days in advance. Links to sign-up sheets are emailed to members as they become available.

Our tournaments are competitive, with golfers ordered into three or four flights, based on USGA handicaps. All members are required to be current members of NCGA, which establishes and maintains handicap indexes for all golfers. Golfers pay the club by check for each event, on the event day, and we add $9 to the course fee to cover prize money and other costs.
The golf club features several additional events during each year: a kickoff lunch at the beginning of the regular season, an awards lunch at the end of the regular season, and a two-round club championship tournament late in the season. We also participate in two SIR statewide multi-round tournaments for individuals and teams. Monthly general golf membership meeting before the monthly luncheon at 11:00 AM. You will not meet a more friendly group and we cordially invite you to check us out. You are welcome to play as a guest before joining.
